This is the same bunny that I had a picture of when he was a baby. There isn't much information about these rabbits since they usually don't live very long. This beautiful guy (Wink) is sure proving them all wrong! Thanks to our friend and fellow rehabber, he's free on her farm and even has a girlfriend. Thanks Sue!

2011-10-21; Blacksburg Cave; Steve thought this was the Chasm of Death -- it was really just the Baby Fluffy Bunny Chasm of Death

I realize now I never got any pictures of the real Chasm of Death. Can I in good conscience ask Jason to spider over that chasm again, just to get a photo? What if he falls?

This hole is fairly safe to cross. There are some good foot holds on the left (obscured by Steve), and it's narrow enough that you could probably jam yourself to a stop if you slipped and fell, The hole we call the Chasm of Death is quite a bit harder, though -- you have to stem out quite far -- too far for Steve and me, but not much of a challenge for Jason.
