Mom out on the town
With two of her friends. The photo's folder says, on the front,
"Your Souvenir Photo from BUSH STREET MUSIC HALL
AT THE BALALAIKA
960 BUSH STREET SAN FRANCISCO,"
and in Mom's handwriting, her name and "August 23, 1946."
She's written inside the front cover:
1. Dinner at Omar Khyyam's
2. Chinatown
3. Hot chocolate and chocolate sodas
4. The Mikado
5. Home!
The paper frame around the pictures is labelled with Mom's name, then "'Lolly' Wilman!" and "Elizabeth Wilman 'Baby'!"
I think I remember Mom talking about Lolly and Baby among her college friends.
Mom was a jazz musician, and going to college at Cal, near San Francisco, meant she spent a lot of time socializing and clubbing around in San Francisco.
(The venue: " -- Bulldozers raze the building at 960 Bush St., the site of the Boarding House entertainment venue, leaving a hole to be filled with more condominiums.")

Only babies manage to bring out the true joy of living...
Aaah the care free days of childhood.
I didn't do anything special for this picture. Photoshop has been used to crop out the unnecessary details but no editing on the picture itself.
Good framing of quick moving subjects is something I'm yet to get a hang of.

Kaleo quickly realizes the best way to be the cutest baby in the picture is to knock the other suckers out of the frame.
