lion statue in the forbidden city. the fact that it has a baby lion under its paw (as opposed to a ball) signifies that this is a she-lion. (or lioness, if you want to get technical.)

it came up on shore and was just laying there burying itself so we went and told the lifeguard or whoever it was idk. they said they were gonna call the aquarium to see if they should come out and get it
so i took some pictures, we dont know if the aquarium came or not

we were walking on the wharf right by the boardwalk in santa cruz, we heard all this noise so we went down on one of the public docks and saw all these small sea lions!! they are so cute, they were just laying there so i took pictures :DD
then the huge sea lion on the other side of the dock got all mad and started making noise at us so we left haha
