This image: 21 exposures

Method:
• Take 21 shots covering the whole scene
• Stitch shots in panoramic software
• Crop picture to remove all the black edges
• Edit in Photoshop curves tool to take whites and blacks to the edge
• Shrink image to a size that will be manageable in Photomatix (around 20Mpx)
• Save 1st image
• Using Levels tool, add 1 point Exposure Value (from 1.00 to 1.33)
• Save 2nd image
• Using Levels tool, add another point Exposure Value (from 1.00 to 1.33 again)
• Save 3rd image
• Undo last 2 steps
• Using Levels tool, remove 1 point Exposure Value (from 1.00 to 0.66)
• Save 4th Image
• Using Levels tool, remove 1another point Exposure Value (from 1.00 to 0.66)
• Save 5th and last image
• Open Photomatix and Create HDR with the 5 images saved from Photoshop
• Tweak settings in Photomatix until happy
• Process Image and save
• Run image through Imagenomic Noiseware to remove noise (and greatly reduce filesize)
• Save Image aund upload
