Finished: "Miss Dashwood" baby bonnet

I knitted this bonnet from Knitty.com in newborn size, for a baby who is soon to be born. The yarn is Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran, which is what the pattern called for. It was a bit splitty but very nice to knit with otherwise. The pattern is amazingly cute, but the bobble part SUCKS. My bobbles were really funny-looking. If I make this pattern again, I'm leaving out the bobbles and putting in ribbon trim there or something.

These birds hatched from a birdhouse on our porch. We got to see all 5 or 6 of them come out and fly for the first time. When the roll was developed, didn't get the pictures on CD, so this is scanned.
