I got technically-tagged to do this. ._. It's like, a second-hand tagging that they didn't even mean to tag but I was like "O HAY I prolly won't do this otherwise!" and so I decided what the heck?

I. I love tennis/ping pong/volleyball, though I haven't played any of 'em in like five years.

II. I am addicted to character creation. I don't care if the character started as one I dreamed up or one I put together in Sims, I love making original characters, and most that I draw will end up in Sim form at one point, and most of the ones I make as Sims I'll draw (true for 12 out of 16 of my Sylvan Hollow characters). I have an excess of at least 60 that I have on a physical list to count and have named, and I have at least 10+ not listed that I thought of when I didn't see them mentioned just now. My oldest character is one from when I was 8, and my newest is always one that isn't truly created yet.

III. I want to write an excellent monster story / horror / comedy. But I am stunted by my own reservations about how to present concepts at times, such as vampires (I like the idea of a bloodthirsty monster with less control of its hunger kinda like 30 Days of Night, but the classic aristocrat in Dracula is so cool) or werewolves (took me two years or more to decide whether they should be humanoid wolves or canine lupine forms they take on), along with my desire to present a good character drama, but also being afraid that concentrating too much on characters will make it seem to cutesy and not enough monster...y.

IV. I love metal, but I still harbor a soft spot for stuff like Foo Fighters, Goo Goo Dolls and Disney music. I also listen to music while I sleep. It leads to my dreams having a Lordi/Danzig/Disney/Type O Negative soundtrack.

V. I've also wanted to do a fantasy story since I was about 7 or so, after playing FF6 and FF4 as FF3 and FF2 on the SNES, reading stories like The Hobbit and playing a plethora of other classic RPGs.

VI. There is one living person who I think I truly hate. Any other time I use the term "hate" to describe something, particularly on the internets, I mean I just really dislike it or something about the subject greatly irritates me.

VII. I have a really hard time learning the technical ins and outs of English, and have absolutely no mental constitution for educational subjects that I don't "want" to learn, but for a while I was almost fluent in Yautja (Predator from AvP's home language), could recite most of my favorite games' and movies' scripts, and a plethora of other completely random and almost useless facts I read off of Wikipedia on a whim.

VIII. I haven't had a haircut since 2006 - my hair was trimmed to be just below my shoulders with nose-length bangs. My bangs are now a little past my bust and the longest strands of my hair goes down to my butt.

IX. I'm 21 (and a half), and still have no idea how to drive. I was in a couple pretty bad and close-together-in-terms-of-time accidents in 2003 and they still make me a little nervous, even though they weren't that bad and no one was hurt.

X. My first dog was a mostly black-coated German Sheppherd named Thor. I still think of him every now and then and I miss him...I wore his old dog collar tags for a year after he died.

XI. I browse 4chan - I used to go to /x/ consistently, but now it seems mostly creepypasta and scary pictures, with an occasional "hay guyz, is this paranormal?" "THEN WHO WAS PHONE" thread. I never posted. Now I read /co/ a lot, but would still never post because I feel I don't know enough about a lot of the cartoons and comics a lot of the regulars read.

I stay away from /b/.

XII. Whether it's dA, CocoLo, Flickr, teh Nook or anywhere I go...I lurk a lot, but don't have much to say. I just don't have a lot to say all the TIME.

XIII. When I was 3 or 4, I beat the shit out of the pinata at my sister's birthday party after all the other 7 or 8-year-old girls couldn't defeat it. >:D

XIV. I, like many others who have posted this, have some really amazing, outlandish, oddball or otherwise completely unprecedented dreams. I often think I am performing my dream motions in my sleep. Dreams where I'm walking or running a lot, the blankets down by my feet are in disarray, I have entangled myself in my blankets, I have knocked them all off, and a few weeks ago when I dreamed I was punching someone, I woke up because I punched the wall. My hand hurt for two days.

XV. Of the books that I own, approximately 10/100 of them are not artbooks or comic books. The ones that are not reference books are horror novels.

XVI. When I was 5 or 6 years old, I went on my first trip to Disneyland. The only things I really remember in spite of lots of pictures I still have was meeting Minnie, Pluto and Aladdin at the Lunch with the Characters. My biggest memory of the trip is still not of Disneyland, but of Medieval Times - the Green Knight kissed a rose, and I was the girl that caught it. :> *NEEEEEEEERRRD* It was around Halloween, too, so everything had a zombie look to it.

That's it, I suppose..! I tag Batman, Alfred, Lex Luthor, Dr. Doom and anyone else who hasn't done this and feels bad no one has tagged them.

Batman fact number one: I am the God Damned BATman.

Batman Fact number two: Bruce Wayne isn't Batman.

Etc.

also title is from Misfits, Last Caress lyrics, so don't go believing everything your mama tells you when she starts claimin' I'm killin' babies. D: Picture is from 'round November.

The finishing touches Project 365(2) Day 29

The delay has given us the opportunity to put the finishing touches to the room in preparation for Laura and Dave's baby.

Since we have no idea of the sex, Laura and Dave have gone for a neutral theme avoiding the obvious pink and blue.

The cot arrived yesterday from M&S, so Dave and I assembled that and slotted it in to the space. Then we put up the Dylan and Daisy stickers that have been waiting for months to go on the walls.

Finally Pam and Laura put all the bits and pieces on the cot and stuffed that tidy which is hanging on the end with all the little bears and things that have been given as presents for the baby. Today, Dave and I will hang the two fantastic pictures of Dylan and Daisy that Laura's sister Jemma has painted for them.

All we need now is an occupant!

Grandma heard a great idea - put Andy in a 12 month onesie, and take pictures monthly so we can see him grow. Here's month one - that onesie doesn't look as big as I thought it would.
