The red ribbon is surrounding the baby's tiny body, it holds him from falling and protects him. The red ribbon is the symbol of the fight against HIV and AIDS since 1991 and it represents the hope of a decent life for many people, in this picture the ribbon holding the baby symbolize support and care for an innocent human being. A baby can be born already HIV positive as to demonstrate that HIV and AIDS does not discriminate, people do.

National Zoo's Baby Giant Anteater: It's a boy!

The baby giant anteater born at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo on March 12th, is a boy! During a veterinary exam last week, the keepers determined the sex and found the healthy baby to weigh about 5.5 lbs. He is still happily riding on the back of his mother, Maripi. This is only the second giant anteater to be born in the history of the Zoo. The baby’s name will be decided by a public naming contest. The winning name will be announced on April 29.
