That’s my baby girl, she got crystal blue eye.

This is my baby, she was only 11 weeks old then. It was her 3rd week here with me in California, she was starting to get used to walking with me. No!!! it wasn’t easy at all… Imagine me, sitting on the side walk with a little puppy that does not understand anything yet because after all, she is just a baby. She is now 7 months old, and still getting bigger. I had no idea how fast she can grow because months ago I was walking with her, and the last time we went on a walk… she was walking me!!! Talking about her energy… she can run for hours. I found that out when I went to Almonsor park at night time just to jog with her when she was a baby (I didn’t want to walk her on the street yet because it could be very dangerous). Oh man… that jogging… drain all my energy. So I unleash her… and there she goes… all over the park. I just sat there and watched she ran all over the places. When she got tired enough… she came back. Cute baby isn’t it? We went a few time to the park but then later we get warning because there are no dog allow in the park… DUDE where is the SIGN??? Then he showed me this little sign, a blog away from the park, silly!.

The moment that I took this picture was after we took a walk for a bit around the house and decided to rest for awhile, that is how I get her to stay because she is out of energy. That moment, I wonder what was she thinking… I wish that she can communicate with me somehow, wouldn’t that be awesome? Sigh… I miss her.

update
July 31, 2008. Dear Missha. Happy Birthday to you. My little blue eyes girl.

After 1 year.. I guess she must have know it that she is now 1 year old (human year) as she ran away from home today, only to find later by a boy. Thank you, whoever that is! Thank you! I was dreaming of her today that we were running and then took a rest somewhere, just like in this picture. Relaxing in the sun, getting ready to run… again.

Happy Birthday, my little blue eye, Missha!

And couldn’t have today if Qi wasn’t taking care of her… but opse… Missha ran away! What the -BEEP- ! The point is she is back.

Happy birthday to me :D

So as I turn 29 and have every single person tell me I'm getting old, I just wanted to post a group of pictures that prove age is just a number.

My friend Mike took my camera from me the other day and this is what he got. I'm much better behind the lense then in front of it. I just get ridiculous. Anyway back to birthdays...

Birthdays don't bother me, Tracy's birthdays bother me. I'm only 29 she'll be 11 in 27 days!!! Though I have felt more adult lately. Between Tracy starting junior high and Joe's daughter getting married and having a baby, I just feel more matured. Not mature. Just matured. Make sense?

Well happy birthday to me and Eddy and Jerry Garcia...

Update from Chris & Erin on Ruger & Luna March 2009/ They take to best pictures. Capture them perfectly!

Hello!

I had a few minutes tonight and thought I would send a quick hello. Ruger and Luna are doing great... they are really enjoying this warm weather (and my yard is paying the price). I gave up vaccuuming this week due to my inability to keep up with their muddy feet! My backyad is filled with the remnants and pieces of toys destroyed during the winter that have now been revealed since all the snow has melted. I really can't describe it..... the closest thing I can say is that it looks like a nuclear bomb filled with dog toys exploded in the center of the yard. The dogs like it though because they have discovered toys that were long forgotten. Unfortunately, it is so muddy, they've started digging again, and they are playing and racing around so much, I'll be suprised if I get any grass at all!!!

We spent this past weekend hiking. I took Chris one day and my parents the next. My dad loved it because he felt like the dogs pulled him up all the hills. There is a lake at the park we hike at and Ruger and Luna spent a lot of time swimming despite the fact that there was still ice about 10 feet from shore. Ruger got one look at the water and I could not hold him. If I could have captured happiness on a dog's face.... he hasn't been swimming since his surgery in September, and it was obvious he missed it! Luna swam too, but she much prefers to have the open area to race around like a fool. SHe was running back and forth through the water while Ruger was playing frisbee. We'll probably go back this weekend if the weather is nice.

I've included a few new pictures.... you'll be able to see how mature the babies look. No more puppy faces!!

If you have an available weekend or evening in the next few weeks, we'd love to come for a visit!

Take care,
Erin (Chris, Ruger, and Luna)

Anyone know where that quote's from? :-)

Not the greatest picture of Cody, but you can see how big he's gotten! We are finally getting to the point where both puppies can be loose in the house (with all other doors shut and a baby gate blocking the steps to the upstairs) without totally causing a ruckus. In fact, it's getting rather enjoyable. Of course, right now they are being boarded while Mandy and Ginger stay with my best friend. I miss them, certainly, but I've enjoyed a week without having to take care of the dogs and manage the puppies! But right now, now that it has been a whole week, I am really ready to get back to them!

For the curious, we are in Virginia Beach right now, taking care of my grandmother who is having a lot of trouble with her knees (she's bone-on-bone, with no surgery available until December), her back, and her wrist. It's been really hard for her, so my family and I came to help out for about a week.

I have to say, I LOVE Virginia Beach! During my first full day here, I saw an Afghan Hound, three Shiba Inus and an American Eskimo Dog. The second day I saw a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, a Parson (Jack) Russell Terrier and Golden Retriever. There are SO many more purebreds here than where I'm from (which is right next to Hooterville, if you're wondering!). Don't get me wrong, I love mutts, but going to dog shows and being involved in the purebred dog world really makes me love seeing a dog I can identify walking down the street! Oh, and I'm loving my grandmother's cable TV and Animal Planet! That is the one channel I wish we had. I don't care about the others. :-)

Anyway, that's my story. Cody is still doing well. Promise didn't even look back when the kennel worker took her to her run. And last time we picked her up after spending the day she was like, "Oh, it's you." !! I guess they had fun! :-)
